To get the best results, please follow these curl prep guidelines:
To get the best results, please follow these guidelines before your appointment:
Please arrive with your hair dry, detangled, and in its natural state. Products are OK, but avoid heavy oils or anything that feels greasy.
Let your curls hang freely. Avoid anything that stretches or alters your curl pattern — no hats, clips, headbands, ponytails, buns, twists, or braids.
Do not straighten your curls before your appointment.
If you booked a Curly Cut + Wash & Dry, Curly Wash + Dry, or any color service, your hair will be washed during your appointment.
If detangling is required during your appointment, a $15 fee per 15 minutes will be added to your service.
If prep guidelines are not followed, your appointment may need to be adjusted or rescheduled at your stylist’s discretion.
Tardiness Policy
We understand that things happen. If you're running late, we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your service may need to be adjusted or rescheduled to keep our schedule on track. This will be determined based on your service and at your stylist’s discretion.
Redo Policy
We want you to love your hair. If you need an adjustment, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment.
If your stylist was unable to achieve what was discussed during your consultation, we’re happy to make adjustments at no additional cost.
If you’ve changed your mind or would like something different than what was originally agreed upon, a new appointment will be required at full price.

Our Approach
We are a teaching salon, which means many of our services are supported by assistants who are actively training and growing within our space.
Your stylist will lead your consultation, cutting, and overall service, while our assistants support with washing, treatments, and finishing.
