  • Yes — a wash and finish is included with all full services and color appointments.

    Please note: This is not included with quick services such as Cut & Go’s, bang trims, face frame cuts, or undercuts.

    Your wash and finish includes a thorough cleanse and conditioning, product application tailored to your hair, and a finished style using diffusing or hooded drying, depending on your needs.

  • Yes — we offer blowouts as a standalone service, with pricing based on your hair’s needs and texture.

    Flat iron or curling iron styling can be added on, and heat protectant is always included.

  • We understand that things come up, and we’ll always do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to modify or reschedule your appointment in order to stay on time for the rest of the day.

    If you’re running late, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

  • Absolutely. While we specialize in curly and textured hair, we welcome all hair types.

  • We carry and recommend a curated selection of products from Innersense, Davines, and DevaCurl.

    Your stylist will walk you through what works best for your hair during your appointment, based on your texture, routine, and goals — so you leave with products that actually make sense for you.

  • Yes — we offer a range of treatments designed to support frizz, dryness, and overall hair health.

    Your stylist can recommend the right treatment during your appointment, based on what your hair needs that day. You can also explore our add-ons on the Services page for a full list of options.

  • We don’t separate trims from haircuts — all cutting services are booked the same way.

    Whether you’re taking off a little or doing a full reshape, your stylist will customize your cut based on what your hair needs that day.

  • Street parking is available in the area. We recommend allowing a few extra minutes to find a spot.

  • We’re located at One Whitney — 1 Whitney Ave, Suite 203, in New Haven, directly across from Yale University.

    Enter through the main lobby and take the elevator to the second floor.

  • We accept cash, check, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all major credit cards.

    Tips are appreciated in cash or via Venmo, though credit card tipping is also available. Venmo QR codes are available at checkout for your convenience.

  • Please arrive with your hair dry, detangled, and worn in its natural state. Avoid pulling it back, stretching it, or altering your curl pattern before your appointment.

  • Yes — dry cutting is a core part of how we approach curly hair. This technique allows us to shape your hair based on how your curls naturally fall, creating a more accurate, lived-in result.

    Every cut is customized based on your texture, density, and goals.

  • Most clients come in every 8–12 weeks to maintain shape and keep their curls looking their best.

    That said, timing can vary depending on your hair, lifestyle, and goals — your stylist will recommend what makes the most sense for you.
