Amy & Mike Lane friends, clients, and Jo's very first Devachan-style curly cut! The Lovebirds in Paris Jo and Amy met back in their NYC theater days. After visiting the Devachan Salon in downtown Manhattan, Amy brought Jo the Curly Girl book and guided her on the curly cutting technique. Jo began applying these techniques to her curly clients, and the rest is history...(or "herstory"). Eventually, Jo attended the Davachan training school and learned directly from the horse's mouth (as they say in Jo's home state of Texas). Amy was Jo's personal physical trainer and web master for a number of years (she created this website!), and Amy and Mike helped build the One Whitney Ave space back in March of '06. They moved out to Japan for a few years, and now they're doing well back in NYC...we miss'em, though.
